Be Honest With Children

When I was a kid, I fell in love with one country in Europe. The reason is simple: the teachers apologized to their students in class openly. As adults, they did't hide any wrongdoing of the older generations. "What we did during the war(s) is wrong."

That is so different from Chinese culture. We grew up and got used to blaming and hitting by adults, and criticized as a generation much, much worse than our ancestors. "One generation is getting worse than one generation," our adults signed all the way, all those years. I used to think that our best days were long gone; we were born but worthless. Dead, old, ancient people are always praised, but kids are often treated as some kind of "bad-modern products."

"One generation is getting worse than one generation." The solution is very simple: if we hate our new generation so much, just don't bring more kids to this world. Let other people in other countries who treat their kids well and think highly of them reproduce more children for this planet and do their best to benefit this world.

"One generation is getting worse than one generation." Chinese adults love this saying. Maybe it's better to reproduce less worse human beings to ruin the world, right? If our adults know and admit our children are of low quality and still insist on reproducing more, this kind of reproduction is just meaningless.

As an adult now, all I wanna say is, "Sorry, Chinese kids. The popular saying, one generation is getting worse than one generation, is wrong. I believe that when you all grow up, you will be much better Chinese adults than us."
