Water Crisis: The Price We Must Pay

The debate about whether global warming is a scientific misunderstanding or a political lie is still going on, but I’m old enough to go beyond news report or academic theories on this matter.

Observe how our daily life keeps changing due to hot summer and warm winter, the answer is right now, right here, right in our daily routine and water consumption: When I was young, drinking 2000 c.c. every day is even a little too much; but now 4000 c.c. daily seems natural. Summer is so hot that eating food becomes a burden, but drinking lots of water seems like the basic rule for health and survival.

Food is a big global problem right now. If we don’t cool down the Earth as soon as possible, water crisis will be the next serious crisis for all of us. It took only 20 years to double my daily water consumption in summer, plus, we’re facing the unstoppable population growth in the future, so what’s waiting for us?

More population, more water consumption, yet where’s Water Resource Growth? People are foolish enough to fight for sea power day in and day out, but who cares about the crucial water resource for all?
