Dragon Year, Dragon People

「龍的傳人」?

We've been taught this concept since we were very, very young, "We are the descendants of the dragon." Sounds cool, right? Dragon people, dragon group, dragon history, dragon mystery, dragon spirit, dragon lineage... wow, everything and anything feels somewhat "dragon-right," doesn't it?

Not according to Buddhism, sorry to remind you that.

Dragons are still animal beings, which means, they're part of the three evil ways or bad realms. Dragons are big and powerful, but also full of anger and lust; they always crave blood and desire, born with insatiable hunger, troubled by countless worms. Poor creatures, you may say. Little baby dragons are easy prey of the Golden Wing Bird King(s.) Being a dragon means living a miserable life full of violence and fear.

Are Chinese people really mixed with dragon blood?
If yes, kind of genetically modified and species-mixed?
If no, then why fool and mock us since we were innocent kids?

Yes or no, what kind of dragon anyway?
"Chinese Version Dinosaur" or what?
Are we biologically blood-related to ancient dinosaurs?
How did this kind of weird thing happen in the first place?

So let's keep watching; watch closely and intensely...

Happy Dragon Year!
