Wonder Why?

One friendly straight gentleman asked, “Why would those gay people want to get married? Our society has already accepted gay people; they could live together for life, nobody’s against that!”

Well, monks and nuns won’t ask questions like “Why would those straight people want to get married? Our religious tradition has already accepted straight people, they could become fathers, sisters, monks or nuns, and nobody forces them into marriage!”

If monks or nuns dare to “force” straight people to give up their freedom of marriage, other cultivators will simply think their cultivation fails. A big failure. If one cultivator lacks the basic ability of understanding or sympathizing people’s different needs [or power of karma,] his/her cultivation fails.

Straight marriage is a legal social drug. Most people become addicted to heterosexual life so much that they couldn’t live without it and keep blaming each other for different sexual views, “Only me! That’s my drug, you can’t have it!”

Strange enough, most cultivators can understand people’s basic need of marriage and give warm blessings, but most straight people only support their own marriage according to their personal sexual taste. Cultivators don’t blame straight people for falling in love or living a legal marriage life, but straight people blame gay people for falling in love or living a legal marriage life…
